- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional development for children in your care
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care as needed
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor play
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar caregiving roles is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, or children with disabilities is a valuable asset
- Classroom experience demonstrating effective classroom management and activity planning skills
- Certification in first aid and CPR is strongly recommended; additional training in special education or behavior management is a plus
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents or guardians
