Role Type:
- Paid Internship
- Duration: 3-6 months
- Location: Cedar Park, TX (Up to 25 hours per week in office)
Salary Range: $25-35/hour (Dependent on market and experience)
Position Overview
Pirq is looking for a TikTok Content Intern who truly lives and breathes TikTok. This role is perfect for someone who’s always on top of trends, loves creating content with friends, and instinctively understands what makes a video go viral.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our social team to brainstorm, film, and edit engaging TikTok content that feels native to the platform while bringing Pirq’s brand personality to life. If you’re confident on camera, enjoy connecting with people, and love experimenting with creative ideas, this could be a great fit for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ideate and pitch creative TikTok concepts that align with Pirq’s brand voice and current social media trends.
- Stay up to date on TikTok trends, sounds, and formats, and translate them into timely, relevant content ideas.
- Film TikTok content both in-office and on location, including street interviews and college campus activations.
- Lead on-camera interviews with confidence while capturing genuine, engaging moments.
- Edit TikTok content using in-app tools or external editing apps to create polished, engaging videos.
- Quickly turn around videos to stay on top of real-time trends and maintain a consistent posting cadence.
- Work closely with the social team to experiment with new formats and creative concepts.
- Confidently appear on camera and guide others during on-camera moments when needed.
- Support content shoots, events, and activations as needed.
- Travel locally when needed to capture content opportunities and brand moments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passionate about TikTok with a strong understanding of trending formats, creators, and sounds.
- Highly creative, fast-moving, and excited to experiment with new content ideas.
- Confident on camera and comfortable interviewing people in fun, spontaneous settings.
- Experienced in filming and editing engaging short-form video content.
- A strong communicator who excels in fast-paced, creative environments.
- Deeply passionate about social media, wellness, and digital culture.
- A proactive self-starter who is eager to contribute ideas and take initiative.
