Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing of food and beverage transactions
- Recommend menu items, upsell specials, and promote beverages to enhance sales and guest satisfaction
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while balancing registers at shift end
- Uphold food safety standards by following sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest reservations smoothly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fast-paced environment
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
- Experience in serving, bartending, or hosting/hostess roles demonstrates strong guest relations skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential for maintaining hygiene standards
- Culinary experience or background in the food industry enhances your ability to assist with food preparation and understanding menu offerings
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and accurate order processing
