Regional Sales Representative

Piranha Fabrication Equipment is seeking a motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Representative to join our growing team. Based in either our Hutchinson, KS or Belvidere, IL office, this individual will be responsible for promoting and selling industry-leading fabrication equipment, including fiber lasers, press brakes, plasma tables, ironworkers, and bending rolls. The successful candidate will build strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and deliver equipment solutions that help manufacturers improve productivity and achieve their operational goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a network of contacts to identify and develop new sales opportunities.
• Communicate with customers and prospects to understand their operational needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Demonstrate product capabilities and benefits based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with product specialists to identify the best solutions for each customer's specific application.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication, relationship management, and issue resolution.
• Maintain regular contact with existing and previous customers, informing them of new products, services, and enhancements.
• Accurately document sales activities, calls, orders, opportunities, lost business, and customer interactions.
• Provide weekly territory sales forecasts and activity reports.
• Assist with trade shows, open houses, customer events, and training sessions.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory up to 60% of the time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field; or
• Minimum of five (5) years of related sales experience.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working within a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot, to track sales activity and customer interactions.

Compensation

$75,000 to $85,000 base salary, depending on sales and industry experience, plus an aggressive commission program with strong earning potential.
