Job Description
Uniform Stores is one of the nation's leading omni-channel retailers dedicated to the specific needs of branded group apparel, and one of the largest suppliers of healthcare apparel in the United States. We use software and processes to deliver managed uniform programs to groups and their members.
We're looking for a full-time Billing Specialist to manage the full billing cycle for both customer invoicing and vendor payables. You'll ensure accurate, timely billing, resolve discrepancies, and maintain clean records that support month-end close and cash flow.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate customer and vendor records
- Process and post vendor invoices in a timely manner
- Generate and issue customer invoices on schedule
- Oversee customer payment deposits and related reporting
- Reconcile vendor statements monthly
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor and customer financial inquiries
- Monitor and document corporate credit card expenses
- Support daily bookkeeping operations and month-end close activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments as needed
Skills and Requirements
- Working knowledge of billing, payables, and basic accounting procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and complete daily tasks independently
- Comfortable adapting to changing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Compensation and Job Details
- Pay type: Salary
- Pay range: $55,000–$63,000
- Hybrid schedule: typically 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
- Standard business hours, Monday–Friday
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 1 year administrative experience (preferred)
- 2 years experience with Microsoft Office (preferred)
