Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and prevent theft or vandalism.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to ensure safety and security.
- Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Enforce security policies and procedures while managing conflicts professionally and calmly to de-escalate situations.
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records accurately and promptly.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing preventative measures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable; military background is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and monitoring protocols.
- Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies.
- Ability to handle conflict management situations with professionalism and tact.
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security procedures.
- Excellent observation skills with keen attention to detail for detecting irregularities.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods; capable of responding swiftly in urgent situations.
