IRSG, a division of Pipp Mobile Storage Systems, Inc., is looking for an enthusiastic and responsible individual to fill the role of Team Lead in the Production/Assembly department. This role supports the production line process by providing hands-on daily direction and enforcing company policies and procedures.
Position: Team Lead - Production
Reports to: Production Manager
Location: IRSG, Itasca IL
Department: Operations
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30PM Monday – Friday (Potential for overtime, some Saturdays)

Responsibilities:
- Supports the production line process by providing “hands on” daily direction and enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Maintains high quality control standards in the production process.
- Measures and tracks process efficiencies, supports the Production Manager with improvements and standardization activities
- Provides support to other departments such as shipping, receiving and warehouse.
- Problem solves production concerns and appropriately escalates employee concerns to management.
- Trains employees to the expectations regarding the correct processes, procedures, quality standards, and throughput.
- Maintains professionalism in all verbal and written communications and high level of integrity and work ethic.
- Works alongside the team using hand tools and small power tools to assemble and package product.
- Maintains compliance with all regulatory, safety and company policies and procedures.
- Contributes to a positive work environment, providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
- Ability to professionally and effectively communicate verbally and in writing, bilingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret customer work orders, processes, procedures and work instructions.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Consistently demonstrates a positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Demonstrates excellent work ethic and attendance.
- Demonstrates high attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and communicating effectively.
- Must be capable of occasionally lifting and/or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Previous experience in assembling and/or welding is preferred.
