What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control - Hi Lo Driver - 2nd Shift position at Piping Rock?
Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Inventory Control Associate II is responsible for ensuring that inventory is properly accounted for with the distribution area. This position is responsible for adhering to the safety guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect.
Responsibilities:
- Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area
- Unloads and stacks material by using lifting device
- Inventories materials on work floor and in warehouse
- Loads or unloads materials onto/off pallets or lifting device
- Resolution of lost pallets and tracking history
- Restocking Pick locations
- Conducting daily/weekly cycle counts
- Perform physical inventory controls
- Conduct investigations of inventory loss when necessary
Shift: Monday- Friday 3:00pm- 11:30pm
Qualifications:
- 2 years of inventory counting experience in a warehouse environment
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- MHE certification (Hi lo, Power Jack, Turret Machine) experience required
- WMS experience preferred
- Flexibility for overtime when needed
- Must be able to read/write English
- Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely
- Must be comfortable with working with heights
- Some Excel and Outlook experience required
- Must be an accurate counter
- Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training
- Other duties as assigned
