Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, autonomous Licensed Behavioral Health professional to join our high-performing network. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations using current ICD-10-CM coding standards to determine client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and other relevant clinical interventions as permitted by state licensure and within the therapist's scope of practice.
- Deliver crisis intervention and crisis management services to stabilize clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or co-occurring disorders
- Facilitate specialized counseling sessions including grief counseling, PTSD care, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines; ensure timely medical records updates and proper coding using CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes
- Collaborate with case management teams for comprehensive patient care and coordinate services across inpatient and outpatient settings when necessary
- Engage in clinical research and data collection to support continuous quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with current state certification
- Proven experience in outpatient mental health therapy, including telehealth experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and trauma-informed care
- Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnosis documentation; experience with CPT coding for billing purposes
- Ability to perform intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning effectively
- Experience working with diverse populations including children, adolescents, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or co-occurring disorders
- Excellent clinical documentation skills maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards and medical documentation protocols
- Competency in crisis management techniques and behavior management strategies in various clinical settings
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to mental health conditions; experience with inpatient or hospital settings advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills for engaging clients through direct support and patient-centered care approaches
