Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a complex, multi-customer warehouse facility located in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading warehouse teams, coordinating logistics and inventory processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage a dynamic environment with multiple customer accounts and service expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, shipping, and inventory control.
- Oversee a team of warehouse associates, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time across multiple accounts with varied requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer service inquiries related to warehouse performance.
- Coordinate with transportation providers, third-party vendors, and internal departments to optimize flow and minimize delays.
- Implement and maintain compliance with company policies, customer-specific SOPs, and food safety (e.g., SQF, GMP) and OSHA standards.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and investigations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe working conditions throughout the facility.
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and use of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Responsible for customer invoicing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a multi-client or high-volume distribution environment.
- Familiarity with WMS systems and inventory control processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple customer requirements and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience working in food-grade or regulatory-compliant environments is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate standard warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) as needed.
- Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends or extended hours during peak periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
