We are looking for a December 2025 or May 2026 graduate to join our public finance team as an entry level Public Finance Investment Banking Analyst in Des Moines, IA.

Our core business is partnering with not for profits, private developers, and state and local governments to raise capital for infrastructure projects through the issuance of tax exempt and taxable bonds. About The Role
Our analyst position offers a unique opportunity for ambitious professionals seeking to play a meaningful role in connecting capital with opportunity to finance projects for not-for-profits, governments, and developers who are engaged in building the country's infrastructure. Analysts are involved in all steps related to the completion of bond transactions, including creating financing plans, assisting clients in developing financing goals, preparing proposals and presentation to clients and their boards, preparing bond schedules including related cash flow analysis, assisting clients with their federal securities law filing obligations, and creating debt maps for our clients, as well as overall debt transaction processes. Analysts should be prepared for direct interaction with senior bankers and clients in a highly competitive, rewarding, team-oriented environment to execute successful financings.
Qualifications

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $75,000 - $80,000 per year. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience, location and other factors. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.

Qualifications
- Degree in economics, accounting, finance business, management, engineering or other related degrees
- Ability to demonstrate high achievement, particularly in a team setting
- Operates consistently with the highest degree of integrity and accountability
- Quickly builds trust across multiple constituencies
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
- Can thrive in a high pressure, deadline oriented environment
- Successful candidates will be enthusiastic, highly self-motivated, and to go the extra mile in terms of effort and hours when needed
- Well organized, attention to detail, and able to manage multiple projects under pressure
- Strong communication and professional presence with clients required
