We are currently looking for an Investment Banking Associate to join our Consumer team in our Charlotte, NC or San Francisco, CA offices. Our associate position offers a unique opportunity for professionals seeking to play a meaningful role in our continued growth while gaining significant experience in M&A, debt, equity and equity-linked transactions. The associate will prepare valuations, write memorandums for company sale assignments and private placements, prepare M&A analyses, and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for public offerings. The associate is responsible for structuring and executing transactions, and typically functions as a backup for relationships with important clients, is generally the key contact for some clients, and begins to assume some important new business responsibilities.

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $135,000 - $175,000 per year. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience, location and other factors. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be a part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.

- 2 years of Investment Banking experience and prior work experience involving financial analysis or transaction execution
- Degree in finance, business, management plus other related degrees

- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling
