What are the responsibilities and job description for the RNG Operator position at Piper Maddox?
Our Client is a growing RNG Developer, Owner & Operator that is scaling its U.S. renewable natural gas portfolio and expanding its technical operations teams.
The platform is backed by a global energy and commodities company with $13B in long-term assets and significant investment across the broader energy-transition space. Over the last year, the organization has commissioned 6 RNG facilities, with additional growth underway.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operate and monitor RNG plant equipment and processes
- Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, controls, and mechanical issues
- Monitor and work with SCADA, PLCs, control loops, and process systems
- Troubleshoot 24V systems, instrumentation, and electrical/control issues
- Use multimeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify problems
- Troubleshoot and support rotating equipment
- Support preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Monitor plant performance and operating conditions
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, reliability, and plant efficiency
- Support special projects and initiatives as the facility continues to grow
