Project Engineer (Solar, BESS & EV Charging)

Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to support design and delivery of solar PV, BESS, and EV charging projects across multiple U.S. markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design PV, BESS, and EV charging systems
  • Integrate monitoring and SCADA systems
  • Use PVsyst, Helioscope, Energy Toolbase
  • Optimize systems (ROI, IRR, NPV)
  • Manage third-party engineers
  • Support interconnection and permitting
  • Review drawings, equipment, and designs
  • Support preconstruction and construction teams
  • Ensure NEC, utility, and AHJ compliance


Requirements

  • 5-10 years relevant design experience
  • Strong SCADA, monitoring, and interconnection knowledge
  • Experience with Modbus / RS-485
  • Familiar with ITC, MACRS incentives
  • Proficient in PVsyst, Helioscope, Energy Toolbase
  • Engineering degree required
  • Experience with EPCs/developers preferred


Location & Schedule

  • Remote/hybrid (flexible)
  • Limited travel
