Piper Maddox is exclusively partnering with an extremely exciting startup who are developing, owning, and operating standalone energy storage projects across the US. This opportunity will offer an opportunity to come in as an early member of their team and have a huge impact on how the business continues to grow.
The business is a wholly owned subsidy of a major international energy company and has the financial backing and support to grow at an incredible scale over the next several years. They have a healthy pipeline and some great targets they will be looking to hit and are building out a team to help them accomplish these goals.
We are currently looking for a Project Developer to join their team as they continue to expand their project development and open new opportunities in the business. You will be working on a team of 4 project developers to continue to help the company continue to grow in its markets and potentially expand into new ones.
Required Experience
- Ideally looking for someone with 1-2 years' experience working in utility-scale or DG energy storage or renewables project development. This being said, this role can encompass a wide range of experience.
- It would be great if this person had experience in ERCOT, NYISO, ISO-NE, PJM, or MISO as these are the business's markets.
- Someone who is comfortable operating outside a project developer's normal scope. You will have amazing opportunities to lead a project and grow professionally.
- Someone with a demonstrated history of good public speaking skills and the ability to function autonomously.
