Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist – Project Execution Team
Our client is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to support project execution activities across energy storage, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects. This role will focus on ensuring a safe working environment, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation across construction and operational phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure OSHA and environmental regulatory compliance
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Lead incident investigations and corrective actions
- Deliver safety training to employees and contractors
- Support environmental programs (waste, hazardous materials)
- Maintain EHS documentation and reporting
Requirements
- 5 years of EHS experience (construction/energy preferred)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and safety systems
- Experience with incident investigation and risk mitigation
- Strong communication and training skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, OSHA Outreach Trainer, or NEBOSH
- Experience in renewable energy, energy storage, or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with contractor safety management and multi-site operations
Location & Schedule
- Santa Teresa, NM (on-site)
- Occasional travel to project sites as needed
