Piper Maddox is exclusively partnering with an extremely exciting startup who are developing, owning, and operating standalone energy storage projects across the US. This opportunity will offer an opportunity to come in as an early member of their team and have a huge impact on how the business continues to grow.
The business is a wholly owned subsidy of a major international energy company and has the financial backing and support to grow at an incredible scale over the next several years. They have a healthy pipeline and some great targets they will be looking to hit and are building out a team to help them accomplish these goals.
We are currently looking for a Director or Manager of Development Engineering to take on a new opportunity in the business. You will be managing the Development Engineering team and overseeing all development processes.
Required Experience
- Ideally looking for someone with 3 years' experience working in utility-scale energy storage or renewables project development or construction.
- Experience managing direct reports and having a proven ability to be a strong and creative problem solver.
- It would be great if this person had experience in ERCOT, NYISO, ISO-NE, PJM, or MISO.
- Someone with great communication skills and an ability to work with different areas of a business or third-party vendors.
