Piper Companies is seeking a Solution Architect a rapidly growing leader delivering advanced engineering and digital solutions to U.S. government customers. The Solution Architect will serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor, responsible for modernizing legacy service engineering tools and processes by leveraging Siemens PLM software, industry best practices, and model‑centric methodologies. This role plays a critical part in helping customers achieve digital transformation goals through well‑architected, scalable, and secure solutions. This role is onsite in Ogden, Utah.

- Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of Siemens PLM‑based solutions aligned to customer objectives
- Analyze customer business processes, technology stacks, and data models supporting sustainment of serialized assets
- Define solution strategies, technical approaches, and architectural roadmaps
- Prepare functional and non‑functional requirements, fit‑gap analyses, and use case documentation
- Facilitate and lead customer workshops to gather requirements and validate proposed solutions
- Leverage Siemens‑defined templates and industry best practices to accelerate adoption
- Review solution and design specifications for technical accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with consultants, product architects, project managers, SMEs, and development teams to ensure successful delivery
- Act as a technical escalation point, troubleshooting and resolving critical production issues
- Support project execution by helping manage scope, cost, schedule, and quality
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, setting expectations and providing thought leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Software) or Computer Science
- 5 years of experience implementing or supporting Siemens Teamcenter solutions
- Strong hands‑on experience with:
- Teamcenter configuration and customization
- BMIDE and application‑based configurations
- Teamcenter workflows, ETL, TcXML
- Tc Schema / SQL
- 5 years of customer‑facing technical experience
- Deep understanding of PLM solutions and software development lifecycle
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex topics clearly
- IAT Level II certification (Security ) required for administrative access to Air Force networks
- Willingness to travel up to 35%
- Advanced knowledge of Siemens PLM technologies and architectures
- Experience with Enterprise Change Management (ECM)
- Background in process reengineering and digital transformation initiatives
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of new technologies
- Experience mentoring or directing others in technical
