Responsibilities of the Senior Survey Project Manager:
- Lead land surveying projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring compliance with quality standards, client requirements, schedules, budgets, and state regulations.
- Oversee daily field and office operations while developing project plans, staffing strategies, budgets, proposals, contracts, and billing schedules.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and supporting projects across infrastructure sectors including energy, utilities, and renewables.
- Monitor financial performance, mentor and develop project staff, and provide regular status updates and reporting to leadership.
- Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
- Proven experience managing complex land surveying projects and leading survey teams.
- Strong technical proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Geopak, OpenRoads (ORD), and the MS Office Suite.
- Collaborative leadership approach with a demonstrated commitment to mentorship, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
- Salary Range: $140,000 - $165,000 (based on experience)
