Piper Companies is seeking a Quality Engineer to support an award winning tech company. This position will be in Durham, NC 3 days a week . The Quality Engineer will conduct testing of web applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and other defects.

Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer include :

  • Develop and execute test cases and test scripts on various applications
  • Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers
  • Identify and fulfill any test data needs

Qualifications for the Quality Engineer include :

  • 2-4 years of experience as a Manual Quality Engineer with some knowledge of QA Automation scripting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Web testing and an API testing background
  • Possess the ability to run some automated testing but the role is predominately manual testing
  • Experience in test designs, test plans
  • Strong SQL skills

    • Compensation for the Quality Engineer include :

  • Salary Range : $97,000-120,000
  • Comprehensive Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
