Responsibilities of the Lead Azure System Engineer include:
- Architect and manage secure, scalable Azure cloud systems to support business needs across various environments.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud resources through proactive monitoring and optimization.
- Use Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Bicep to automate and maintain cloud infrastructure consistently.
- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to build hybrid solutions that integrate on-premises and cloud systems.
- Stay current with Azure advancements and best practices to continuously improve infrastructure design and drive innovation.
- 4 years of hands-on experience working with Azure cloud environments in an engineering or similar role.
- Deep understanding of Azure service models like Serverless, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS to design effective cloud solutions.
- Proven experience implementing cloud security and cost optimization strategies using tools such as Azure Security Center and Azure Policy.
- Azure certification (minimum: Azure Administrator) is required to validate expertise in managing Azure infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required to ensure a strong technical foundation.
- Salary: $155,000 - $165,000
