Cloud Devops Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong AWS experience to join a growing team focused on building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal Cloud DevOps Engineer candidate will have hands-on experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies, ensuring high availability and security across cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud-based solutions.
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards within AWS environments.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in Cloud/DevOps engineering with a focus on AWS.
• Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM).
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
  
  

Compensation:

• $120,000 – $155,000 annually with a comprehensive benefit: Medical, Dental, Vison, 401k, PTO, holidays, sick leave as required by law
