AUTP IT Project Manager

Piper Companies is seeking an AUTP IT Project Manager to support a leader in the American tobacco manufacturing industry for a 6 month contract term Hybrid role based in Greensboro, NC. The AUTP IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing project plans, collaborating with multiple stakeholders and other project managers, updating and reporting status of project plans, and working with the supply chain and finance tower while working within IT tower.

Responsibilities of the AUTP IT Project Manager:

• Leading the designing, building, integrated testing and delivery of integrations and remediations of the spokes systems connecting to the S4 core.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, program team, internal IT teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
• Oversee resource allocation and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as appropriate.
• Ensure projects comply with internal governance standards, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide regular status reports, risks, issues, and mitigations to leadership, including timelines, dependencies, and budget updates.
  
  

Qualifications of the AUTP IT Project Manager:

• 7 years of Project Manager experience required
• Proven experience working on a SAP transformation project
• Proven experience with S/4 HANA complex transformation project
• SAP ECC and Manufacturing/CPG/FMCG preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
• Experience in Intermediate to Advanced MS Project
• PMP certification preferred
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field from an accredited university
  
  

Compensation for the AUTP IT Project Manager includes:

• Salary range: $151,840-$155,000 USD per year based on professional experience
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
