Analytical Scientist

Piper Companies is currently seeking an Analytical Scientist in Miami, Florida (FL) to work for a leading pharmaceutical development and manufacturing company. The Scientist I/Senior Chemist will serve as a key contributor in ensuring product quality through routine analytical testing and method validation.

The Scientist I/Senior Chemist will support manufacturing by ensuring quality control of pharmaceutical products by performing advanced regulated testing.

Responsibilities for the Analytical Scientist include:

• Execute analytical testing using established methods including HPLC, GC, and dissolution
• Complete raw and finished material testing using various methodologies
• Perform method validation and verification in accordance with cGMP and other global standards
• Establish reliable data that supports the transfer and release of manufactured products
  
  

Required Qualifications for the Analytical Scientist include:

• 1 required years of experience working in pharmaceuticals or analytical laboratory environment
• Working knowledge of executing and documenting analytical test procedures to determine quality of a product
• Familiarity working with HPLC or GC instruments (hands on experienced preferred)
• Strong understanding of USP and familiarity with compendial testing
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently
  
  

Compensation included for the Analytical Scientist includes:

• $25-$31per hour (depending on experience)
