Our mission is to grow young leaders, while helping student-athletes become the best versions of themselves. Pipeline Volleyball Club is home to over 1000 youth athletes including boys and girls from grades K-12.
Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Youth Volleyball Club Coach located in Schaumburg, IL and Hanover Park, IL. The Coach will be responsible for coaching, training, and educating players on volleyball techniques and strategies. The Coach will also be responsible for attending all practices and tournaments. Practices average 2-3 nights per week with weekend tournament events throughout the club season.
Duties
- Implement training programs from lead trainers that enhance players' skills in volleyball.
- Conduct regular practices focusing on technique, strategy, and teamwork.
- Organize and oversee competitive matches, ensuring adherence to rules and fair play.
- Provide constructive feedback to players to promote improvement and confidence.
- Foster a supportive team environment that encourages participation and growth.
- Engage with parents and guardians regarding player development and team activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in sports coaching, particularly in volleyball, is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain a positive training atmosphere.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all athletes.
