Flagger

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Flagger to join our team in the Central Virginia area. As a Flagger, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our construction sites and the general public. Your primary responsibility will be to direct traffic and control the flow of vehicles around the work area. You will be responsible for setting up and taking down traffic control devices, such as cones and signs, and communicating with other team members to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Your attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols will be essential to the success of our projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Flagger or in a related field
• Certification in traffic control procedures (Certification training provided)
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and equipment

Responsibilities:

• Direct traffic and control the flow of vehicles around the work area
