Forklift Operator – Yard

Join our team as a Forklift Operator, keeping our yard running safely and efficiently. You'll operate a forklift to move OCTG pipe and materials, assist with inspections, and help maintain a safety-first work environment.

Job Purpose

• Operate a forklift and assist with yard functions per facility policies.
• Manufacturing environment; lifting up to 30 lbs. Requires PPE (safety glasses, work boots, hardhat). No loose clothing or jewelry.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move pipe/materials.
• Lead small groups on OCTG inspections/tests under management supervision.
• Operate only machinery you're trained and authorized on.
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned machinery.
• Complete accurate reports (maintenance, production, inspection/test, shipping/receiving).
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental, Quality, and Shipping/Receiving procedures.
• Report issues to supervisor; perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Required Skills

• 1-3 years' experience with machinery/OCTG processing or related field.
• Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain via company training).
• Read/write in English or Spanish; general math skills.
• Good physical condition; able to work outdoors on your feet for extended hours; lift up to 30 lbs.
• Punctual, dependable, safety-focused; flexible schedule including overtime and call-outs.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
