We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for pipe installation, remodeling, and maintenance projects.
- Conduct system inspections to identify issues related to HVAC systems, mechanical components, or plumbing fixtures.
- Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate work seamlessly.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Plumber license or certification with proven field experience in construction plumbing.
- Demonstrated experience working on construction sites with knowledge of heavy lifting and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and schematic reading tools.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, remodeling techniques, maintenance procedures, and handyman skills is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and material estimations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with familiarity in construction site operations including carpentry and assembly tasks.
