Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute plumbing projects accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform remodeling and renovation work involving plumbing components
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment required for installations and repairs
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure project timelines are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following OSHA guidelines and safety protocols
Skills
- Must have a journeyman or higher license.
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices and building codes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs
- Carpentry skills for framing or structural modifications as needed
- Experience with schematics and technical diagrams for system troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently
- Heavy lifting capability and physical stamina for demanding tasks on-site
- Valid commercial driver’s license (preferred) for transportation between job sites
- Maintenance Person experience or assembly skills beneficial for versatile job functions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
