As a Warehouse Picker (Warehouse Associate II) at our distribution center, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our outbound processes. Utilizing an electric pallet jack, you will navigate our warehouse to accurately pick products as per order requirements. You will also use an RF scan gun to ensure accurate inventory management and order fulfillment. This position requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to safety protocols.
- Operate an Electric Pallet Jack to move products throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Pick an average of 13 lines per hour, and limit down time b/t picks to a min of 5min.
- Use an RF scan gun to accurately pick products according to order sheets.
- Ensure order accuracy by verifying product numbers and quantities.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures when operating equipment and handling products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient picking and storage.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist in managing warehouse inventory accuracy.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding order status and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting, especially in picking or material handling, preferred.
- Ability to operate an electric pallet jack and RF scan gun with proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to lift -up to 75 lbs. pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
