The Inventory Associate I is responsible for performing routine cycle counts and supporting inventory control activities using handheld RF scanners. This entry-level position ensures inventory accuracy and contributes to efficient warehouse operations by following established inventory control protocols, maintaining clean workspaces, and following safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times
- Perform accurate ground-level cycle counts using RF scanning equipment
- Support daily inventory functions and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Assist in identifying and resolving basic inventory discrepancies
- Understand and execute inventory transfer and adjustment processes
- Complete housekeeping tasks in designated inventory areas
- Work overtime as needed to meet operational demands
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support operations.
Job Qualifications & Requirements
- 1-2 years' experience in a inventory role
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems preferred
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new responsibilities, and work independently
