Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy, following established protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
- Position patients accurately and utilize proper radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
- Review and evaluate images to ensure image quality and clarity, and make necessary adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, including infection control protocols.
- Participate in continuing education to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
- Must graduated from an ARRT-approved Radiology Program.
- Must have a valid Radiologic Technologist license in the state of California.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification preferred.
- CPR certification (BLS) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Strong knowledge of radiologic equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
