What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nuclear Med Technologist position at Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District?
Performs Nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of the Nuclear medicine Physician(s). Acts in concert with other departments to provide quality services to patients. Relates to other department managers and staff to promote continuity and coordination of patient care.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Certified as a nuclear medicine technologist b the State of California
2. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with patients, visitors, and staff
3. Able to follow department’s procedures and operate complex computerized equipment
4. Ability to work with minimal or no supervision and take rotating call on evening and weekends.
5. Current CPR certification
