POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Pioneering Evolution is seeking a mid-to-senior level Acquisition Analyst to support Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs. This role focuses on acquisition lifecycle management, program execution, and stakeholder coordination across ACAT I, ACAT II, and non-ACAT programs. The ideal candidate brings experience with the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF), strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You will support program planning, reporting, and execution activities that directly contribute to successful acquisition outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support DoD acquisition programs across ACAT I, ACAT II, and non-ACAT categories
  • Apply knowledge of Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) pathways, including Major Capability Acquisition
  • Develop and deliver executive-level briefings, working-level presentations, and program status updates
  • Track and manage incoming and outgoing taskers, ensuring timely completion of assigned actions
  • Support acquisition planning, milestone documentation, and program schedule development
  • Monitor program execution and provide analysis, reporting, and recommendations on performance and risks
  • Assist in preparing and coordinating program reporting requirements, including DAES, DoD Gate Reviews, and Congressional reports
  • Support Navy acquisition processes, including POM development, Program Readiness Reviews (PRR), and Congressional requests
  • Contribute to budget planning activities, including Navy budget exhibits and funding trackers
  • Engage with stakeholders across government and industry to support program objectives and decision-making
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and provide rapid responses to data calls and leadership inquiries

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with DoD Acquisition Category (ACAT) IC, ACAT II, and non-ACAT/component of acquisition programs.
  • Knowledge of Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) Pathways, e.g., Major Capability Acquisition Pathway
  • Experience developing executive and working level presentations, facilitate brief updates, tracking and contributing to effective analysis and management of incoming and outgoing actions items assigned
  • Experience with acquisition milestone and acquisition planning documentation development, program schedule development, program execution monitoring and reporting
  • Knowledge of applicable Program Reporting requirements, including Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES), DoN Gate Review, Congressional reporting, etc.
  • Experience supporting Navy processes and brief updates including POM, Program Readiness Reviews (PRR), and congressional requests.
  • Knowledge of Navy Budget Exhibits, funding trackers, task planning, and ability to engaging with stakeholders and understanding of PBBE process.
  • Self-starter that can provide quick turn-around research & response for data calls.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office 365 Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, etc.); SharePoint.
  • Secret Clearance

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of International Agreements
  • Knowledge of Acquisition Management System (AMS)
  • Knowledge of Federal or DoD contract management policies, regulations, and guidance
