Duties
- Safely operate motor coaches, shuttle buses, and paratransit vehicles on scheduled routes and special charters.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and cleanliness.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and answering questions professionally.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatchers and team members using radio or other communication devices.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or maintenance needs.
- Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks or reporting mechanical issues promptly to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for passenger transport (e.g., P endorsement for passenger vehicles).
- Proven experience driving motor coaches, school buses, limousines, or shuttle vehicles in a professional setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Prior experience in paratransit services or delivery driving is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
