POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of a Customer Service Manager is to provide leadership for the Customer Service Team. Manage processes to ensure a superior customer experience. Develop policies and procedures to meet or exceed on-time delivery, safety, quality and financial objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate confidently, clearly and professionally with our customer in a timely manner.
- Develop and grow this business unit to be a primary profit center.
- Coordinate closely with sales, engineering, purchasing, materials and assembly teams to meet your objectives.
- Develop and manage a customer-focused culture. Create systems to support customers 24/7.
- Provides hands-on leadership and be technically and tactically proficient.
- Successfully execute the annual S&OP plan to achieve department and company goals.
- Promote teamwork, positive communication and cross-functional problem solving.
- Develop and manage a work of environment of continuous improvement.
- Exemplify a “can-do” attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Seek continuous improvement as well as personal and professional development.
- Plan, coordinate and manage field service visits to support installation, start-up and scheduled/unscheduled repairs efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree in related field or high school diploma with four or more years of relevant experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Proficiency in conflict management and negotiating
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and teamwork skills essential
- Mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems knowledge is a bonus!
- AB CCW, Studio 5000 or Siemens software knowledge is a bonus!
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequently required to sit in an office environment using computers
- Frequently walk, stand and climb ladders on the assembly floor to evaluate projects and solve issues.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Regularly works in an equipment manufacturing environment exposed to noise, dust and vibration.
- Operate office equipment and computer.
SAFETY REQUIREMENT:
- Must wear all required personal protection equipment (PPE) in areas required.
