We are seeking a motivated and analytical Loan Analyst to join our commercial real estate finance and advisory team.
This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with an Associate Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field, who are eager to build a career in loan analysis, underwriting, and bond financing evaluation.
The Loan Analyst will support senior underwriters in analyzing, structuring, and processing commercial real estate loan transactions—including taxable and non-taxable bond financing structures used for development projects.
- Review and analyze financial statements, rent rolls, budgets, and borrower financials.
- Assist in underwriting commercial loan requests and evaluating borrower creditworthiness.
- Perform bond financing analysis, including debt sizing, coverage ratios, stress testing, and feasibility metrics for both taxable and tax-exempt bond structures.
- Support preparation of credit memoranda, investment summaries, and loan committee packages.
- Conduct market research and comparable property analysis to support underwriting assumptions.
- Review loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Track loan pipelines, assist in due diligence coordination, and support transaction closings.
- Learn PRC’s proprietary loan and bond underwriting models; participate in credit discussions and deal strategy meetings.
- Associate Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (required).
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest or foundational knowledge in bond financing, structured debt, or capital markets preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to learn financial modeling techniques.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
