Job Summary
The dietary aid will provide supportive food service by preparing, serving, and assisting with meals for residents while following dietary guidelines, safety standards, and promoting a positive dining experience.
Reports To:
This role reports to the Kitchen Manager.
Supervision:
This role has no supervisory duties.
Schedule:
The dietary aid will work up to 30 hours per week.
Functions/Responsibilities:
- Serve meals and drinks to residents
- Deliver meals to residents
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room before and after meals
- Wash dishes and properly sanitize kitchen and dining equipment
- Set and prepare dining tables with condiments and supplies
- Assist kitchen staff with daily food service operations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Competencies:
- Proven dietary experience
- Ability to perform job responsibilities effectively
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift or move up to 50lbs
