What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personnel Coordinator position at Pioneer Production Services Inc.?
Pioneer Production Services Inc. is a leading provider of Oil Field Contract Labor and Services in the Utica and Marcellus Basins. We are currently accepting applications for a Personnel Coordinator to service our Northeast Division.
Personnel Coordinator (Operations Division) will be required to do the following:
- Improve the operational procedures, policies and field relations for Pioneer Production Services Inc.
- Develop, maintain, and manage employee and customer relationships.
- Assist operational team in bid meetings, personnel meetings, safety meetings, sales and other duties assigned by management team.
- Work with operations department to recruit, screen, and hire potential candidates per customer and job specific requirements.
- Respond to customer requests for additional personnel and services in a timely manner.
- Manage recruiting leads, follow ups, resumes etc. to create a pipeline of potential employees.
- Present strong, competent job candidates to operations team and customers.
- Attend joint interviews with customers and candidates.
- Assist HR in new hire processes with newly hired employees.
- Mentor and motivate all field employees while taking accountability for assigned work.
- Ensure assigned employees have proper PPE and safety equipment etc. needed to perform work safely and efficiently.
- Facilitate work and job scopes between customers, employees, and safety departments.
- Facilitate regular onsite visits to field employees.
- Facilitate safety audits, safety stand downs etc. assigned by safety and operations departments.
- Perform other duties assigned by management team.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Night and Weekend availability is a must.
Candidate Requirements:
- Ability to establish and cultivate customer relationships is required.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks assigned by management is required.
- Critical thinking skills are required.
- Strong communication skills, problem solving ability, and self-motivation is required.
- Strong Microsoft Office products experience is required.
- Previous oilfield experience in field or management is strongly preferred.
- Previous recruiting experience is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable operating ½ ton, ¾ ton and 1ton trucks is preferred.
- Must live within a reasonable distance form Northeast Division office St. Clairsville, OH.
- Ability to work out of Northeast Division office.
- Ability to travel daily and occasional nights where field personnel are working.
- Must pass Criminal Background Check, and drug test.
- Must have a very clean driving record and pass Motor Vehicle Record check per commercial insurance standards.

Total compensation is dependent upon experience to the open position requirements.
