The Role (What You’ll Own)
As the Plumbing Service Manager, you will oversee the daily operations and performance of the plumbing department while ensuring exceptional customer service, technician development, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.
You will:
- Lead and coach plumbing service technicians
- Drive department performance and accountability
- Monitor KPIs and department metrics
- Improve technician development and customer experience
- Ensure operational consistency and efficiency
- Build and maintain a winning culture
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop plumbing technicians
- Conduct ride-alongs, performance reviews, and coaching sessions
- Hold team members accountable to company standards and expectations
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new technicians
- Create a positive, high-performing team culture
Operational Performance
- Monitor daily revenue, average ticket, conversion rates, and KPIs
- Ensure technicians are properly dispatched and set up for success
- Work closely with dispatch and customer service teams
- Help improve processes, efficiency, and overall department operations
- Maintain proper staffing levels and scheduling support
Customer Experience
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained
- Assist in resolving customer concerns and escalations
- Promote professionalism, communication, and trust with homeowners
- Maintain high standards for service quality and workmanship
Accountability & Reporting
- Review department performance metrics regularly
- Hold technicians accountable for performance and professionalism
- Maintain communication with leadership regarding department goals and performance
- Assist with reporting, forecasting, and operational planning
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of residential plumbing experience preferred
- Previous plumbing leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Experience managing KPIs, performance metrics, and team accountability
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience with ServiceTitan preferred
- Strong operational and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record

Experience
- Residential Plumbing: 5 years preferred
- Management or Leadership Experience: Preferred
- Home Services Industry Experience: Preferred
License/Certification
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Plumbing certifications/licenses preferred
