What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool and Die Repair Shop position at Pioneer Plastics, Inc.?
We are looking for a tool and die maker / machinist to join our team of skilled workers. The ideal candidate would have five years or more experience on mills, lathes, and grinders. CNC programming experience would be preferred but not required. We are a locally owned and operated business that is looking to expand our team as we continue to grow.
Your responsibilities would include the ability to setup and run manual mills and lathes. Also the ability to read blueprints, sketches, drawings, and utilize precision measurement tools to determine dimensions and tolerances as necessary.
Requirements:
- At least 1-3 years of experience running manual mills and lathes
- Able to read and interpret various prints
- Able to observe machine operation to detect out of tolerance machine and adjust accordingly
- Able to work overtime as needed
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass hair follicle drug screen
- Must be able to pass physical
- Must be able to pass background check
