Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking a variety of meals, ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards
• Handle food with care, following all food safety and sanitation protocols to prevent contamination
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment
• Contribute to food handling procedures, including portioning, packaging, and storage of ingredients and prepared foods
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and smooth kitchen operations

Experience

• Previous experience working in a dietary department or food service setting is not necessarily required but preferred
