Pioneer Packaging is a family-owned and operated wholesale packaging distributor founded in 1984. We service Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska with a growing presence in the western United States region. As a distributor, our number one goal is to have satisfied customers by providing superior customer service. Customer Service Specialist Position Duties & Responsibilities
1) Customer Service
- Manage incoming calls and customer service inquiries
- Order entry
- Procure payment for COD customers
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information to customer using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives, follow-up to ensure resolution as needed
2. Sales Support
- Write up orders (based on knowledge of products and procedures, making sure the sales rep has included all information needed)
- Revise orders as needed: working with and providing accurate information to purchasing and dispatch; contacting customers if needed
- Provide sales rep any and all information of issues, concerns or special requests from their customer
- · Gather costs from vendors for special orders as requested by sales rep. Work with purchasing to acquire knowledge of how to do this independently.
3. Miscellaneous
- Ship out samples as requested by sales rep
- Maintain the sample shelves for bottles and packaging (restock, organize, label, etc)

- Problem-solving / ability to troubleshoot
- Advocate for customer while maintaining Pioneer integrity
- Product line expert (shippers, bags, totes, glass, gift boxes, etc)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office
Required Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
