- Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide high-quality care and medication support to our residents. The CMA plays an important role in promoting resident safety, comfort, dignity, and overall well-being while working closely with the nursing and care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and assist with medications in accordance with physician orders, established policies, and applicable regulations.
- Accurately document medications administered and monitor residents for effectiveness, reactions, or potential side effects.
- Maintain timely and accurate resident records and communicate relevant updates to the nursing team.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, shaving, nail and hair care, toileting, eating, and mobility.
- Observe residents for changes in physical condition, behavior, cognition, or emotional well-being and promptly report concerns to the appropriate nursing staff.
- Provide compassionate, respectful care while protecting each resident’s privacy, independence, and dignity.
- Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and other members of the care team.
- Follow infection-control practices, safety procedures, and facility policies at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to help ensure residents receive consistent, person-centered care.
