Pioneer Metal Finishing in Chippewa Falls, WI is seeking a Facilities & Environmental Technician to support daily operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment. This position plays a vital role in supporting production by ensuring work areas, equipment, and waste management systems are maintained in accordance with company safety and environmental standards.
OverviewWhen You'll Work:Monday through Friday - Full-time or part-time position available
What You'll Make:
$18.00 / hour to $19.50 / hour
What You'll Do:
- Collect and properly dispose of hazardous waste around plating tanks.- Package waste in accordance with company procedures.- Maintain a clean and organized waste storage area.- Gather, clean, and prepare empty chrome containers for disposal.- Empty sludge hoppers and large waste dumpsters as needed.- Empty banding cutters and properly dispose of scrap banding.- Empty sandblaster hoppers and clean dust collection systems.- Maintain organization of flammable storage, cabinets, broom cabinets, and other designated storage areas.- Sweep and vacuum work areas.- Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
