Morrow County Health District has occasional part-time opening for a Radiology Technologist in Heppner, Oregon.
Under the direct supervision of the Radiology Director, assists the medical providers in generating a diagnosis of disease and injuries. Performs diagnostic testing with a caring, courteous, effective and efficient and manner in accordance with District policies and procedures. This position shares in the Call rotation, which includes week nights, weekends and holidays, and has a 20 minute response time requirement. Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills to accomplish a variety of work with various groups of people, including physicians, patients and family members, personnel from other hospitals, clinics, healthcare organizations and facilities, co-workers as well as the general public. A demonstrated understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures is required. Must be able to interact with others in a thoughtful and professional manner. Must have excellent skills and will provide professional, comprehensive care for all patients at Pioneer Memorial Hospital.
Job Details:
- Occasional part-time variable hours
- On-call hours rotation with a 20 minute response time requirement
- $60/hour when working Mon-Fri 7:00am-5:30pm, with two on-call rate options
Qualifications:
- Must be currently licensed in Oregon
- Must have BLS
- Pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screen are required
