Food Handlers Card Required
- Lead and motivate the barista team to deliver outstanding beverage and food service, ensuring quick and friendly customer interactions.
- Enforce and maintain company policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Maintain food safety standards
- Assist with training new team members on coffee brewing techniques, food prep, POS operation, and customer service protocols.
- Complete task lists with accuracy and efficiency, and delegate tasks to your team.
Skills
- Proven experience with barista duties including beverage preparation, drink service, and café operations.
- Strong knowledge of POS system
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively, and solve customer concerns or service issues.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and register balancing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Leadership qualities to guide team members, delegate tasks efficiently, and resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Experience in food industry settings with a focus on coffee or café environments is preferred.
