Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Business Analyst with Product Owner expertise to join a leading banking client. The ideal candidate will possess deep banking domain knowledge, extensive regulatory compliance experience, and a proven track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives. This role requires strong stakeholder management, product ownership capabilities, and the ability to bridge business and technology teams effectively.

The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of banking domain experience and 8 10 years of hands-on banking regulatory/compliance experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Lead Business Analyst and Product Owner for strategic banking and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, compliance teams, risk management, operations, and technology teams to define business requirements and product vision.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Drive product backlog management, prioritization, sprint planning, and release planning activities.
• Lead workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement grooming sessions.
• Ensure solutions align with banking regulations, compliance standards, and organizational policies.
• Work closely with development, QA, and architecture teams throughout the SDLC.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend strategic solutions.
• Support regulatory initiatives, audits, compliance assessments, and remediation programs.
• Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and communicate status to senior leadership.
• Facilitate UAT planning, execution, and sign-off processes.

Required Qualifications

• 12 20 years of overall IT and Business Analysis experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
• Minimum 8 10 years of experience working on Banking Compliance, Regulatory Reporting, Risk, Governance, or Regulatory Change initiatives.
• Strong experience acting as both a Business Analyst and Product Owner in Agile environments.
• Expertise in requirement elicitation, process mapping, business process modeling, and stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Experience managing product backlogs, user stories, and Agile ceremonies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and large enterprise programs.

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
