What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Electrical Technician position at Pioneer Industrial Systems?
This 1st shift position involves the wiring of electrical field devices and panels of industrial machinery at our facility located in Perrysburg, Ohio. Candidates should possess a sense of pride in their work, a willingness to work as part of a team as well as on their own, and the ability to think critically. A strong mechanical aptitude is preferred. We will train a motivated individual.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Build electrical control panels and land wires to terminals
· Mount electrical boxes in the field to machinery
· Run wireway and conduit as required
· Pull wire or cable through wireway and conduit
· Must have reliable transportation and know how to use basic hand tools
· Possess personal organizational skills, follow company assembly procedures
· Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and overtime on an as-needed basis; involving extra hours during the week, Saturdays, and occasionally Sundays and Holidays if necessary.
Desired Education and Experience:
· Moderate level of electrical aptitude
· Moderate level of mechanical aptitude
· Experience reading blueprints / schematics
· Having your own tools is preferred
