Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist based in Seattle, WA. The Environmental Health Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations related to workplace safety, occupational health, and environment health and safety (EHS). Key tasks include conducting safety trainings, developing and implementing policies, monitoring workplace conditions, and promoting a culture of safety. This role will collaborate with various departments to identify risks, provide recommendations, and support overall organizational health and safety goals.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards and regulations.
- Knowledge and experience in Occupational Health and Workplace Safety practices.
- Proficiency in planning and conducting Safety Training programs for employees.
- Strong problem-solving and risk assessment skills.
- Familiarity with creating and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Safety Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), OSHA certification, or equivalent is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
